Subject:    “ The Field Day, 2009 “    「フィールド　デイ　2009年」

 

In the past 4 years, I set up my station at my backyard.  This year also my station was set up as follows.

Transceivers:   Yaesu FT-817  and  Kenwood TS-680s

Antennas:      A loop for 40m, a bazooka vertical for 20m and a triple bazooka for 15m.

Key:           The straight key I used to practice CW back in 1974 and a homebrew paper clip straight key.

 

I up-loaded some pictures of my station set-up in the album of this blog under " F.D. 2009"..   On the first day, June 27^th, I set up the Yaesu FT817, QRP, hoping that I could make reasonable contacts but it did not go well.  So on the second day, 28^th, I used the Kenwood TS-680s with the power from 20 watts to 25 watts.  All contacts were made on CW.

 

The contacts I made by FT-817 with 3 watts on 27^th　, 27日（土曜日）:

K3A on 40m

WA2DQL on 40m

From my previous experience on the F.D., I did not expect many contacts I could make because of QRM.  And I was QRP, Hi.

 

The contacts I made by TS-680s with max 25 watts on 28^th　,28日（日曜日）:

40m band:  W7UT,  N4UOH,  NG5M,  N0UR,  W2AN,  W2XRX,  VE3YRA,  W0GS,  K0HS,  W4IY,  N4TZY,  N2ZR,  W4FCR,  K8TKA,  K8ES,  W8CDZ,  W8DXA,  W3SK,  W3AO,  K3A,  KX9DX.

20m band:   W4DXA.

15m band:   W1MOO,  W1HP,  W0YI,  K7QQ,  KS1F,  N4NO,  NS1RA.

 

On 28^th, I have made contacts on 15m band which is normally quiet.   The WX was great and most of the time it was sunny at the temperature of about 20 degrees C.  I was in the shade being comfortable when I was on air.  I enjoyed the whole activities and look forward to participating the next year Field Day.

「フィールド　デイ　2009年」

 

毎年、フィールド　デイ（F.D.）に参加しています。　今年も、私の裏庭にトランシーバーを出し、テーブルの上におき、庭に張ってあるアンテナにつなぎ、オン　エアーしました。

リグ：　Yaesu FT-817　　　Kenwood TS-680s

アンテナ：　全て自作ですが、40mループ、　20m垂直バズーカ、　去年作った15mトリプル　バズーカ　ダイポールの3本を使いました。

CWキー：　1974年に私がハムラジオの試験を受ける時に買い、練習に使った（今も使っています）日本製の縦ふりキー、とゼムピン（ペーパークリップ）の自作キーの2個を使いました。

 

テーブルにリグを置いた即席のシャックの写真をアップロードしましたので、このブログのアルバム、「F.D. 2009], 2009年７月12日を見てください。　　　27日（土曜日）と28日（日曜日）はお天気に恵まれ、庭の藤の木の下の日陰で、ゆっくり、のんびりとQSOをしました。　夜は蚊がひどく、外でオン　エアーはしませんでした。　コンタクトが取れた局のリストは、上の英語のところにありますので、見てください。　日曜日は15mバンドも開いて、QSOも出来、面白かったです。　初日の27日（土曜日）は去年もQRPで出ましたが、QRMがひどく、今年もうまくいきませんでした。　

 

町のハムクラブは私の家から南に35キロくらい離れた公園にキャンプを張り、にぎやかに楽しんだそうです。　私も日曜日の朝、クラブ員、皆が集まり朝食を一緒に食べるのに招かれました。　ちょっと遠いのと、朝寝坊をしたため、参加できませんでした、HI。　アンテナを2本張り、2局設置したそうです。

 

フィールド　デイ（F.D.）はカナダの夏のメイン　イベントです。　これが終わり、9月になると寒くなり、私はいつも冬の支度をし、アンテナの整備を終え、冬のプロジェクトに何をするか準備します。　質問があればメールしてください。
