“ The Triple Bazooka Dipole antenna “  「トリプル　バズーカ　ダイポール」

I have designed and homebrewed a triple bazooka dipole antenna for the 15m band a year ago as my experiment project.   It works well with low SWRs from 21.000 Mhz to 21.450 Mhz and have made many DX contacts also.   The SWR measured on this antenna was shown below in this article.  As I expected, the SWR of this antenna indicated from 1.1 to 1.3 measured by MFJ-259B antenna analyzer for the entire 15m band.

This month I homebrewed another triple bazooka dipole for the 6 m band using RG-59 coax cable and I have obtained the great SWR on the experiment antenna.  The results are shown below.   In this article I write a kind of summary of this antenna and am not describing the details of how it is put together and the details will be up-loaded, perhaps, in July or August month in 2009.

The design frequency:    51.000 Mhz

The coax cable used:  RG-59U

The design and construction:  I made a double bazooka antenna and in order to get more flattened SWR over the wider range of frequencies, I added one more piece of coax cable cut 1/4 wave length.  This additional piece is connected to the double bazooka antenna at the feed point.  So it has three pieces of 1/4 wave length of coax cable. Then RG-58 coax cable to my transceiver is connected to the third piece of coax cable.

I have not made a single QSO with this antenna to date (because the antenna was made two days ago, HI.) but looking at the measurement on the table above, the center tuned frequency is at 51.250 Mhz and the SWRs are flat on the entire 6m band.   I noticed that the triple bazooka antennas, 15 m and 6 m, both had wide flattened SWR which is the general character of this antenna.

「トリプル　バズーカ　ダイポール」

昨年の夏、15mバンドのダブル　バズーカ　ダイポールに給電線に1/4　ラムダーの同軸ケーブルを組み込み、SWRが21.000　Mhz　から21.450　Mhzまで1.1から1.3に収まるダイポールを自作し、実験してみました。　DXにも飛びは良く、良い結果が得られました。　これを私は「トリプル　バズーカ　ダイポール」と呼ぶことにしました。

先週、RG-59の同軸ケーブルが手元にあったので、６ｍバンドでSWRがどのくらいの周波数帯で、SWRを低く出来るか実験する為、自作し、まだ、QSOは出来ていませんが、期待通りのSWRで帯域も広いので、このブログに書くことにしました。

デザイン周波数：　　51.000　Mhz

使用した同軸ケーブル：　　RG-59/U

組み立て：　ダブル　バズーカ　ダイポール　アンテナ　を作り、　給電点に第3本目の1/4　ラムダーの長さの同軸ケーブルを接続する。　つまり、1/4　ラムダーの長さの同軸ケーブルを3本使う。　最後に50オームの同軸ケーブルを第3本目の同軸ケーブルにつなぎ、これをトランシバーに接続する。

今回は、組み立ての詳細は書きませんが、QSOをしてから、近いうちにこのブログにのせます。

出来上がった6mバンドのトリプル　バズーカ　ダイポール　アンテナをMFJのアンテナ　アナライザーで測った結果を表にしました。　上の英語の部分にあるので、見てください。　また、同様に昨年実験した15ｍのものも上にあります。

この２表の数値でもわかりますが、トリプル　バズーカ　ダイポール　は　ダブル　バズーカ　ダイポール　アンテナより、更にSWRの特性はいいと思います。　　質問があれば、メールをください。
